The website videos shows supposedly Obama supporters with stuff like: 57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing) 82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing) Did the same people make the movie, website and poll, or is it a spoof or is it just fiction coming to life?

He has an energy plan will have an impact on the environment. The environment is a very important subject, it something we can't live without. His energy plan will forces oil companies making huge profits at the people expense to pay for their greed. It creates cleaner energy alternatives that reduce our dependence on foreign sources of energy. The way he going with the environment, is he trying to change it for the good. He trying to find way to reduce the negative impact on the environment without it affecting are life. His tax plan reduces the burden working people and senior citizens must live with while eliminating tax breaks for companies that expand their jobs to foreign countries. It also reward those company that crate more job for American. His tax plan will small business and benefit those that need the tax reduction. Obama does have some weakness also he not perfect. With security is where Im worried with him. I don't know how he will act if a country declared war on the USA. He say that he going to lower military spending but for me I feel that having a strong military will make people feel safe. He trying to get more of a peaceful environment and other country make think we are weak and try to take advantage of that. I know he just trying to make america a better place but we still going need security. Even with that we all should support Obama, and trust that he taking us in the right direction.

Resolved Question: Did any of you all hear about in Canada that the Catholic schools might be all closing?

What I heard from the grapevine from faculty from the local Catholic elementary, it was announced (after Obama's election) that the catholicschools would be closing as Catholics, and reopening as secular elementary/highschool schools. And that God/Jesus/any religion mentioned will be not allowed. So what do you feel about this happening in USA? Do you all feel that Obama will also demand closing of parochial schools and abolish God/Jesus from all schools? this is happening in Canada, cause they already compromised themselves already with having no tuition and just let the govt pay the teachers their salary. Mistake #1 for them, and nowwhen I bring up tuition based catholic schools it's like what's that, we're not like USA. So I guess they had it coming to them. I will preach and mention Jesus all the time in conversations even on school campus. Found out how many catholics are real pseudo christians, I don't consider a person voting for Liberal Party or Democrat Obama a true blue Christian, cause to me A Christian has to be irrevocably prolife towards preserving the life of a baby. In Canada it's so liberal I feel out of my element here also.

I still see, by the dozens - if not hundreds, of ignorant Obama supporters on this website who vehemently claim that their Messiah released his birth certificate. Usually this is done in response to a question challenging Obama's Constitutional eligibility to run for President. Anyways...why do Obama supporters continue to claim Obama released his birth certificate? Often they cite the website http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html , claim that the item shown there is Obama's birth certificate. However, the item shown is NOT a birth certificate. It's a certification of live birth. So...to all the Obama supporters...can you show me Obama's birth certificate, since you all claim he released it. Where is it? I'll settle for short form OR long form, since at the time of his birth in 1961 they were still making hand-written birth certificates. Betsy: Yes, I do still have my original birth certificate that was issued at the time of my birth 28 years ago in 1980. And guess what? It says "Birth Certificate", not "Certification of Live Birth". Open Question: Why is it that it seems the USA is more able to change whenever needed?

I am from the italy. I come there to Usa to stay with family for to school. I have learned much. Most of that of I have learned is the TV and newspapers of europe do much of the lying about life in the Usa. I see here most of all diversity and it is accepted of more than in the europe. I also have seen here the able to change whenever needed. In Europe, change is slow and doesn't come often at all. We are sometimes told as is often with the politics that "don't worry the people, things are worse in the Usa, so you should be happy," and we have been fooled by this. We have been told, this for example, that the Usa is most racist place, but here you Americans have elected black president in big upset election. And then the reaction from my europe is one of racist remarks. This is embarrassing for to me.

Since Carter we have had some of the worst leadership this country has ever seen. Our government is in a downward spiral, getting worst with every election. How much corruption in government will the people put up with? I can go on but you know how bad government has become and now they basically bankrupted the nation. No finger pointing. Now that the election is over isn't it time that we become "one" USA again. Elections are for us to decide what direction we as individuals want to see our country to go. My man didn't win but I hope my country did, we won't agree with all that our new president proposes regardless if we voted for him or not. We all hope that his decisions are for what's best for our country. I am an old cow-puncher that has seen many presidents come and go and none of them destroyed our country or way of life so lets all come together and work for the good old USA. In battle I didn't ask the man next to me if he was a democrat or republican, I was just happy that he had an M-1 and we were both defending our country. The whole time on the campaign trail, John McCain hammered Barack Obama as being an unknown danger, citing America does not know enough about him or his abilities to be president of the USA and points out Rev. WHAT IS AN EMP ATTACK? EVERY AMERICAN SHOULD KNOW THIS! I feel the only way he can possibly do all he says Al Quida will do is by an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack on the American homeland... Few if any people would die right away. But the loss of power would have a cascading effect on all aspects of U.S. society. Communication would be largely impossible. Lack of refrigeration would leave food rotting in warehouses, exacerbated by a lack of transportation as those vehicles still working simply ran out of gas (which is pumped with electricity). Harvard also has admission standards and you must be a fool to believe in them too. - A cheap VCR can play "Constitutional Law" at University of Chicago without publishing any intellectual work like Obama, unlike all legitimate lecturers at UC who publish tons of work. UC had to keep Obama for fears of lawsuits even though Obama failed to publish. - Literary experts have examined Obama's "autobiographies" and declared with high confidence that they were written by ghostwriter(s). Many investigators have proved that his "autobiographies" are full of lies. - USA will have to abandon all affirmative action programs of the past in order to compete with the Asian economies fueled by educational systems based on competitive standardized tests and grueling exams. USA Today says interest in high school students in a military career is up from 9 to 11 percent since the election. Obviously, the military is a wonderful option for many young Americans, but I don't think people wanted to just be throwing their life away in an endless policing of Iraq.
